What INVESTRA is

INVESTRA is a self-built, data-driven BFSI research and analysis platform covering 50 Indian financial companies across 7 segments - Private Banks, PSU Banks, large- and small-cap NBFCs, Housing Finance Companies (HFCs), Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and Small Finance Banks (SFBs) - over the financial years FY2017 through FY2026, with loan-quality and capital ratios from each company's latest reported quarter.

Every valuation is grounded in a Gordon Growth (dividend / residual-income) framework that derives a justified price-to-book from each company's own return on equity, cost of equity and sustainable growth. On top of that sits ASTRA, a multi-factor quality-scoring engine, and DRISHTI, a dual-model question-answering layer over the same numbers. The platform shows the math, links the assumptions, and leaves the judgement to you.

What INVESTRA is not
  • Not an advisory product. Nothing here is investment advice, portfolio guidance, or a personal recommendation.
  • Not a trading-signal generator. There are no buy/sell/hold calls, price targets, conviction tiers or rankings of "best" stocks. Valuation labels such as "Undervalued" or "Overvalued" describe the model's own arithmetic - not an instruction.
  • Not a solicitation. The platform does not solicit, offer or recommend the purchase or sale of any security.
  • Not a data vendor or real-time feed. Figures are point-in-time fundamentals compiled for analysis, not a live market terminal.

The site shows the math - the assumptions, the justified value, the quality score and the gaps. The user decides.

Himanshu Attarde
I designed and built INVESTRA end to end - the data pipeline, the ASTRA scoring engine, the DRISHTI research assistant, and every pixel of the interface. What began as a summer-internship project grew into a full research platform for India's BFSI universe, built to make the numbers legible.
Guided & mentored by
Viral Sheth
Finance Controller, Moneyboxx Finance Limited

Viral was my manager during the summer internship and the mentor behind this work. I built the website - the code, the engine and the design - while together we shaped the Excel valuation model and the analytical template that INVESTRA reads from. His guidance sharpened how I think about financial analysis, and laid the foundation the platform stands on. My sincere thanks for his time, patience and generosity.

Data and methodology

Every figure on this site is computed live from a single Excel workbook and the ASTRA engine - nothing is typed in by hand. Open pages check for newly generated data every 15 minutes and reload only when the numbers actually change, so no value is ever frozen. The full data lineage and the scoring method - factor by factor - are documented on the Research Methods page.
